Samantha Miles was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Las Vegas in the spring of 2006. She is currently working towards her B.A. in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Samantha became interested in working in the Tourism Safety and Crowd Science lab to gain a better understanding of how practice and theory interact, specifically related to police practices. Upon graduating in 2020, Samantha plans to further her education in law school.
