Research Support Analyst, National Supercomputing Institute
Ron Young has been associated with computing on the UNLV campus for more than 30 years, first as a student and then as professional staff. He has been the primary contact at National Supercomputing Institute (NSCEE) for its research users since 2004. Members of the UNLV community with high-performance computing and networking needs are invited to contact Young to discuss how they can use NSCEE's resources.
His areas of expertise include high-performance computing (including compute clusters and cloud environments), networking, and multiprocessing program development.
