Enrichment Program Specialist
Biography
Risa Federico is the Enrichment Program Specialist for Lifelong Learning. She joined UNLV in the fall of 2015 as part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
Risa is purusing her Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Social and Behavioral Health. Additionally, she studied for a year at Massey University of New Zealand in Biological Sciences. Her research focuses on Purpose in Life in older adults and its impacts on social connection and well-being. In addition to her work in Lifelong Learning, Risa served as Research Recruitment Specialist for the Cognitive Aging & Neuropsychological Equity (CANE) Lab and Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Innovation Incubator (INNOVATOR) Program within the Chambers-Grundy Center for Transformative Neuroscience in the UNLV Department of Brain Health.
