Biography

Rachel Guest, MD, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After earning her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Guest went on to complete an integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She then pursued an additional year of sub-specialty training at the Mary S. Stern Hand & Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Over the course of Dr. Guest’s surgical training, she developed a passion for complex extremity reconstruction and hand surgery. She takes great pride in working with her patients to develop a treatment plan that will help them to achieve their goals.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Guest has research interests related to patient outcomes, wellness, and education. She has participated in numerous studies resulting in multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and national presentations. She serves on multiple committees for the American Association for Hand Surgery and American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
