Pearl C. Kim, Ph.D., is an assistant professor-in-residence in the Department of Healthcare Administration and Policy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She teaches courses in AI in Healthcare, the U.S. Healthcare System, Quantitative Management for Healthcare Organizations,
Multicultural Diversity and the U.S. Healthcare System, and Management of Long-Term Care Services.

Her research focuses on improving the accessibility, effectiveness, and efficiency of healthcare delivery and addressing healthcare disparities, with an emphasis on AI in healthcare, palliative care, behavioral health, and oral health. Her research interests include digital transformation in healthcare and rural health.

Kim leads evaluation efforts for federally and state-funded initiatives supported by PCORI, HRSA, ACL, and the CMS Rural Health Transformation Program. She serves on two Nevada state advisory boards as a governor-appointed member of the Nevada Behavioral Health
Planning and Advisory Council (BHPAC) and the Nevada Commission on Aging, where she contributes to statewide initiatives that improve behavioral health, healthy aging, and healthcare access. Through her research, teaching, evaluation, and community partnerships, Kim
bridges research, policy, and practice through data-driven, community-centered approaches that advance healthcare transformation.
