Pate Thomas (UNLV ’11, B.S. Secondary Education) serves as the founding principal of South Career and Technical Academy in the Clark County School District. A fourth-generation educator and proud College of Education alumnus, his vision centers on building a student-driven culture that emphasizes innovation, leadership, and real-world learning. Rooted in a deep family legacy of teaching in Nevada schools, Pate continues to strengthen connections between education, community, and opportunity.
