Biography

Ometra Williams is a seasoned information technology supervisor with more than 30 years of experience in information systems and enterprise technology. Over the course of her career, she has led the implementation and support of solutions ranging from small-scale applications to complex, enterprise-wide systems. In addition to her technical leadership, she plays a key role in reviewing and assisting with contract negotiations, ensuring that technology agreements align with organizational goals and compliance standards. Her ability to integrate innovative tools and technologies has consistently improved productivity and kept pace with the evolving IT landscape.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s degree in business management administration from the University of Phoenix. This combination of technical expertise and business acumen enables her to lead teams effectively, bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.

In addition to her professional work, Williams serves as an instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she teaches Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation.
