Advising Philosophy Statement

Academic advising should be a process of exploration and discovery, where the student is challenged to examine their own needs and values in the context of their education and future goals. My role is to facilitate their learning and to be a primary support for the student's experience. As an advisor, I want students to develop strong ties to the UNLV community and I hope to provide them with the resources and educational framework to succeed.
