Nicole Solaita is the head of internal audit & risk for Barrick North America, where she leads the organization's internal audit function and enterprise risk program, overseeing a team focused on regulatory compliance, SOX, risk-based audit, and performance assurance.

 A UNLV graduate with 30 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, and business assurance, she began her career as an internal auditor for Boyd Gaming before moving into governmental and regulatory roles, including positions with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the IRS BSA/AML group leading anti-money laundering program audits. She has also held compliance leadership roles spanning online gaming operations and corporate IT, building deep expertise in both operational and technology risk.

Prior to joining Barrick, Nicole served as SVP and chief audit executive for Caesars Entertainment, where she led a broad audit and assurance function spanning regulatory compliance, SOX, IT audit, fraud and controls, and performance assurance - experience that directly informs her current focus on strengthening internal controls and risk management across Barrick's North American operations.

She holds CPA, CISA, and CAMS certifications.
