Biography

Nicole Hudson is a nationally recognized leader in workforce development, adult learning, and the future of work. As Executive Director of Lifelong Learning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), she leads strategic initiatives that connect education to evolving labor market demands, expanding access to non-credit programs, microcredentials, and career pathways for adult learners. With over 30 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Hudson brings deep expertise in organizational leadership, human resources, and instructional innovation.

She has held key leadership roles at UNLV, including Executive Director of Workforce Education and Associate Director of Campus Relations for UNLV Online, where she led pandemic-era faculty training initiatives and developed the university’s Online Teaching Competencies. She holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), and Certified Program Planner (CPP) credentials.

A frequent speaker and strategist, Dr. Hudson advocates for equity and access in lifelong learning and workforce-aligned education. She serves on Nevada’s Displaced Homemaker Board, contributes to regional workforce strategy through Workforce Connections, and teaches at both undergraduate and doctoral levels. A Leadership Las Vegas graduate and faculty member for EDUCAUSE’s New Manager Institute, she is committed to building inclusive learning ecosystems that strengthen communities and align education with opportunity.
