Biography

Dr. Nathan Slife coordinates the First and Second-Year Seminar Program in the College of Education. He obtained his B.A. in Social Science Studies from UNLV, M.A. in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland, College Park, and Ph.D. in Higher Education from UNLV. Dr. Slife is passionate about teaching UNLV students and supporting the ongoing development of Graduate Assistant, Part-Time, and Full-Time faculty. In addition to teaching undergraduate seminars, he also teaches graduate courses in the Department of Educational Psychology and Higher Education. Dr. Slife previously worked in student affairs at the University of Maryland, College Park, La Salle University in Philadelphia, and Tulane University in New Orleans.
