Natalie Spitler serves as UNLV School of Nursing's Director of Assessment and Accreditation. She joined UNLV School of Nursing in fall 2019 as a nursing student success facilitator and was responsible for helping undergraduates succeed during the accelerated BSN program. She is passionate about enabling future nurses to compassionately care for others by learning how to continually care for themselves.

She earned her associate degree in nursing from Rose State College in Oklahoma and both a bachelor’s and master’s in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.  Natalie’s nursing background includes OR experience in orthopedic, spine and pain management cases; community health with a focus on women, infants and children; and clinical resource management. She is also a Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Through the implementation of support programs as well as data collection and analysis, Natalie is utilizing an evidence based approach to promote academic successes among undergraduate nursing students.
