Biography

Dr. Margaret Trnka spent over twenty years in healthcare as a maternal health nurse. Dr. Trnka currently holds a Doctorate of Education with a specialization in nursing education, bringing a wealth of practical expertise and academic insight to her role. She is currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Dr. Trnka’s dedication to enhancing nursing education is evident in her research focus, which centers on improving nursing student engagement through innovative methodologies such as game-based learning. Her commitment to advancing the field is underscored by her tireless efforts to empower future nurses with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in a dynamic healthcare landscape.
