Michael Lubbe presently serves as the president and CEO of the YMCA of Southern Nevada, a position that he has held since 2000. The YMCA of Southern Nevada is an $8 million four branch association located in Las Vegas. Prior to that time, Lubbe worked for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee as a VP and branch executive at two suburban YMCA locations. Lubbe started his Y career in 1984 as a wellness director at the Black Hawk County YMCA in Waterloo, Iowa and from there went to the Beloit Family YMCA to serve as a senior program executive. Lubbe has a Bachelor of Science in physical education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Science in exercise physiology from George Williams College.
