Biography
Melva Thompson-Robinson, DrPH, is a Professor in Social and Behavioral Health in the School of Public Health. She is currently the Project Director for the Southern Nevada Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project, which implements an evidence-based intervention with African American youth ages 14-19 in African American faith-based organizations. Among many things, Dr. Thompson-Robinson is a member of the US Department Health and Human Services Region IX Regional Health Equity Council.
