Mehdi Abid is an instructor of cybersecurity at UNLV. He teaches undergraduate courses in the cybersecurity program, preparing students with foundational and applied skills for the field. He earned both his M.S. in cybersecurity and B.S. in computer science from UNLV, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. His academic interests focus on cyber intelligence methodologies, social engineering tactics, and the pedagogy of cybersecurity education.
