Mary Rendina has spent the past 20 years working in the Las Vegas community and corporate sectors. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Rising Star, President’s, and Executive Director of the Year awards from Community Associations Institute, and the Women in Business Award from the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce.
During her time with the Community Associations Institute Nevada Chapter, Rendina grew the chapter’s membership from 660 to more than 1,200 and more than doubled its sponsorship revenue.

She has been a guest speaker for UNLV marketing students and for business networking groups throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
In the wake of the tragic events of October 1, 2017, she founded the #58RandomActsofKindness movement in honor of the victims, which now has more than 5,400 participants worldwide.
A past board member of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Rendina co-founded Camp Cartwheel, a summer camp for children battling cancer. She currently volunteers as a photographer for various Las Vegas nonprofits.
Most recently, Rendina published her first book and study guide, Contending for Your Miracle.
Rendina and her husband, Joe, have been married for more than 43 years and are the proud parents of three UNLV alumni.
