Mark Cardozo was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area before his family eventually moved back to Las Vegas. A proud homeschooler since the 5th grade, Cardozo graduated from Nevada Virtual Academy (now Nevada Virtual Charter School) with advanced honors. He completed his undergraduate degree at UNLV in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in English (Professional Writing) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Hotel Administration on the thesis track at the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality.

Cardozo began his career at UNLV as an orientation leader before joining the Office of Admissions the following fall, where he served as a Rebel recruiter and later as an admissions counselor. After more than three memorable years with the Office of Admissions, Cardozo joined the College of Education in 2026 as a student recruitment coordinator, continuing his passion for supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals.
