Maria Langley is a Senior Employee Relations Specialist for the UNLV Office of Human Resources. After earning her BS in Hotel Administration at UNLV, she enjoyed a 30 year career in hotel operations and human resources with MGM Resorts International. With a desire to step away from the lights of the glittering Strip, she accepted a position in human resources at UNR's Cooperative Extension's Statewide Administration office before welcoming an offer to return home to UNLV where she started as a personnel analyst before transitioning to employee relations. She currently is the employee relation's point of contact for Allied Health Sciences, Educational Outreach, Faculty Affairs, OIT, Law School, Liberal Arts, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Police Services Southern Command, Public Health, and escalated issues for Business Affairs administrative faculty concerns.
