She received her M.A. in developmental psychology and Ed.M. from Teachers College, Columbia University, after earning her B.A. in psychology at the University of Florida. Her responsibilities encompass directing all aspects and functions of the field and clinical experiences leading to elementary and secondary teacher licensure, including preservice teacher preparation programs for undergraduates and graduate alternative routes to licensure teacher candidates in the college programs. In addition, she is the leader of the learning community that provides professional development in partnership schools, fostering the relationship between the 21st Century Schools and UNLV. Before joining UNLV, she was an elementary school principal in New York. Before becoming the clinical field experience coordinator, she taught teacher education and pedagogy courses.
