Biography

Logan Kennedy was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and has lived in Las Vegas over the last 25 years. He completed his Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During this time, he developed an interest in the areas of environmental criminology, crowd management, and political protests. Logan is currently a third-year doctoral student and plans to become a university professor. His research focuses on police management of protest crowds. His dissertation will examine structural factors conducive to protest violence and various approaches police can use to de-escalate and prevent violent encounters.
