Liana Fernez is an artist and educator from Connecticut, New York, Colorado, and now Las Vegas. She believes in the transformative power of theater and its ability to inspire intellectual rigor and gut reactions. Her undergraduate degree explored the interdisciplinarity of literature, theater, and education, and her first master's interrogated the relationship between emo music, early social media, the culture of the 2000s, and teenage social psychological development. She is incredibly excited to further her theatrical craft in the UNLV MFA Performance program.
