Laura Anders joined the Office of Sponsored Programs in 2018. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Accounting in 2008 from UOP. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial statements, and tax preparation at various industries. In her current position, she sets up new awards, new budgets and amendments, sets up and updates supplier contracts, reconciles and creates sponsor invoices on monthly basis, posts check & ach payments into Workday, prepares check deposits on weekly basis, assists in maintaining award file & reports, scanning and uploading of sponsor invoices, supplier invoices, award notifications and proposals into Workday. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada from Oahu, Hawaii in 1997. She enjoys dining out, going to movies, shows & concerts, vacations, game shows, cooking/gardening at home and loves music & animals.
