Why did you choose the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV?
I wanted a program that had strong surgical training as well as exposure to high-risk obstetrics. It was also important to me to have family planning training integrated into the program. UNLV also has a diverse patient population and the opportunity to train in a variety of practice settings.

What are your interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
I have a hard time deciding because I love it all! I am especially drawn to maternal fetal medicine and medical education.

What is your favorite thing to do in Las Vegas?
I enjoy exploring the state parks, Red Rock and Valley of Fire, and the food is incredible.

What is one fun fact about you?
My wedding was an elopement in Hawaii over a three-day weekend.

What is one piece of advice you would give to candidates interested in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program?
Be intentional about the questions you ask and keep your notes organized. Don’t forget to take some time to celebrate all that you have accomplished!
