Kush Modi, MD, is an associate professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India.

Dr. Modi also serves as the medical director of the critical care unit at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC). He earned his master's degree in public health at Drexel University, where he also did his residency training in internal medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at State University of New York at Buffalo.

His clinical interests include bedside critical care ultrasonography, endobronchial ultrasound to investigate mediastinal diseases and clinical decision making.
