Kimberly Murga is the Director of Laboratory Services for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. She oversees all forensic-related operations to include Firearms, Toxicology, Latent Prints, Biology/DNA, Trace Materials, Seized Drugs and Quality Management. Kimberly has been in the field of forensic science since 1996 and was formerly employed by the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory.  Kimberly is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, and the Academy Standards Board DNA Consensus Body. She holds two bachelor’s degree in biology and criminal justice from Chaminade University, and a master of forensic science degree from George Washington University.
