Kia began her career at UNLV in 2006, with the Office for Student Advising in the College of Hospitality. Since then she has worked various roles in Advising, most recently as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising Practice with the Office of the Assistant Vice Provost for Student Success. In her current role, Kia is the Online Program Coordinator with the Office of Online Education. Kia has a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. In her free time, you will find her spending time with her family, friends and their dog, Fozzie. She also enjoys traveling to new places, practicing yoga, and volunteering at her children's school.
