Biography

Kevin Doyle was born and raised in Las Vegas, went to college on the East Coast, lived in various parts of the U.S. and Europe, and then came back to his home town in 2011. After working remotely from Las Vegas for over a decade, he recently shifted his career focus to being an advisor for tech companies to help diversify the local economy and make our community more resilient. He joined the UNLV Entrepreneur in Residence program at the beginning of 2026, because it aligned perfectly with his vision for the future of Las Vegas.

With over 25 years of experience as a software engineer and product manager at multiple tech startups specializing in building control systems, pharmaceutical research automation and collaboration, and electrical vehicle charging, Kevin learned that a deep understanding of complex systems allowed him to create elegant solutions to difficult problems in not just the technical realm, but also in the business and personnel spaces. He has a passion for turning chaos and complications into clear actions that the entire team can comprehend. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in computer science & electrical engineering and brain & cognitive science, and he serves on the board of the MIT Alumni Club of Southern Nevada.
