Kerry Budding (MFA 2029) is an artist originally from Southern Ontario, Canada who now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kerry immigrated to the United States as a teenager in 1996 and became a naturalized citizen in 2007. Following September Eleventh, Kerry enlisted in the US Air Force and served two tours in Iraq as a civil engineer. This background influences his art as it explores institutional violence and its consequences. Kerry’s work is primarily focused in print-making, alternative photographic processes, and foundry sculpture. Kerry graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art in 2024.
