Kelly Webber, Ph.D., RD/LD
Visiting Associate Professor in Residence
Dr. Kelly Webber is a registered and licensed dietitian, and a visiting associate professor in the Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences department. She earned her master’s in nutrition from North Carolina State University, and her Master’s of Public Health and Ph.D. in nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has research expertise in obesity prevention, behavior change, and health policy, and has also been involved with the implementation and evaluation of numerous interventions to promote weight loss as well as chronic disease prevention among adults. Dr. Webber teaches Introduction to Nutrition, Life Cycle Nutrition, Nutrition Assessment, and Nutrition, Health, and Ethnic Issues. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
