Kay is a 2012 graduate of UNLV with a Master of Science degree in accounting. She has been working for Campbell Jones Cohen CPAs since January 2009 preparing tax returns and financial statements for clients. Kay worked her way from part-time data entry clerk to partner. After joining the CJC team, she quickly decided that working at the firm was fun and returned to college to earn her degree in accounting. As a result of her persistence, Kay successfully became a certified public accountant in 2013. Kay's expertise is in audits of non-profit organizations and trust tax returns. Additionally, she works with a wide variety of individual and small business clients.

Kay's favorite firm responsibility is staff development. CJC launched their staff development program #CPAHard in 2022 to assist staff accountants in becoming CPAs. The program has two graduates and eight current participants.

Outside of work, Kay enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her family. She is married to Mike, who she met at UNLV just over 30 years ago. They have two children, Taylor, an opera singer, and Ben, a sophomore at the University of Alabama.
