Katie Ballou is a senior academic eligibility specialist for Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS). She currently provides academic support for the men's basketball cross country, track and field, and women’s tennis programs. She serves as the primary liaison to the Office of International Student Services (OISS) and leads SAAS initiatives related to services, training, and best practices for international student-athletes. In 2022, Katie received her M.Ed. in higher education from UNLV, where she served as a graduate assistant for SAAS and provided support to the university’s cheer, dance, and pom teams.

In 2016, Katie started her journey at UNLV as a four-year letter winner on the women’s soccer team and earned her B.S. in hospitality management in 2020. Katie is originally from Henderson, NV.
