Kathie Caroon joined UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and works in the Smiles Dental Clinic on the Maryland Parkway Campus, within the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.  In her role as a Program Officer, Ms. Caroon oversees the operations of the Smiles Dental Clinic.

Ms. Caroon earned her Registered Dental Assistant certification from Ann Arbor Community College in Michigan.
