Kate Wintrol is assistant professor and instruction librarian at UNLV. She is also the libraries' liaison to the Honors College and teaches honors history classes. She earned her M.A. in early European history from UNLV and her M.L.I.S. from the University of North Texas. Her research interests include ancient Greek athletes, medieval visionary women, and historical representation in film.
