Kass (they/them) is a double alum of UNLV, holding a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Education in higher education. Since December 2023, Kass has served as the Director of Career Services and Workforce Development and the Director of Career + Life Design. In these roles, they are dedicated to empowering students and community members to design fulfilling lives by discovering their strengths and true potential. A central focus of their leadership is the elevation of the "Career Everywhere" initiative at UNLV, most notably through the launch of the Rebel Career Champions Network (RCCN), which fosters a campus-wide culture of career support.

Kass’s commitment to the growth of the UNLV campus is reflected in their extensive service on multiple institutional committees. They currently serve as a co-chair for the UNLV Work+ Committee and are an active member of the UNLV Onboarding Committee. Furthermore, Kass actively engages in vital campus partnerships and initiatives, including UNLV Rebel Ready Week, Homecoming, and FYS/SYS programming, ensuring that career readiness is woven into the fabric of the student experience.

Beyond the university, Kass brings a wealth of diverse professional experience to their role. They spent over two and a half years providing expert career coaching and operational leadership within a tech startup, helping job seekers navigate the competitive landscapes of MAANG companies (Amazon, Google, Meta). Their background also includes significant work in the nonprofit sector, where they supported individuals in obtaining certifications in IT, cybersecurity, and healthcare fields. Within the local Las Vegas community, Kass has collaborated with organizations such as the Just One Project to provide professional development training and support.

Driven by a deep desire to uplift others, Kass also volunteers as a crisis counselor with The Trevor Project, providing emotional support to LGBTQ+ youth. Locally, they are an avid supporter of small businesses and a dedicated fan of UNLV Athletics and the Las Vegas Aces. Through their work as director, Kass creates a synergy between passion and purpose, guiding individuals to chart their own courses and build meaningful careers that resonate with their deepest aspirations.
