Kaliya Arnwine is originally from Los Angeles, California and moved to Las Vegas to join the UNLV community in 2002. She graduated with her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. During her undergraduate career, Kaliya worked in the Cashier's Office and was an involved student leader in various organizations. After graduating she took a position with the Registrar’s Office as a Degree Audit Analyst. After a few years of full-time work experience, Kaliya decided to pursue her Master’s of Education at Cleveland State University. Her career in higher education continued in various professional roles at both Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University. Missing the Vegas weather, she then decided to move back home to Las Vegas a few years ago. Prior to joining the Wilson Advising Center, Kaliya was a Conference and Event Coordinator for Student Union & Event Services. She is very passionate about helping UNLV students achieve their goals while engaging and enjoying their college experience. In her spare time, Kaliya enjoys traveling, trying new foods, binge watching TV, podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
