Biography

A first-generation Colombian American raised in Las Vegas, Joshua Molina is a creative entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and leading multi-unit hospitality businesses. He launched his first venture at 17, creating an online store selling more than 250 older-edition textbooks. After graduating from high school with more than 50 college credits, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology from UNLV in 2010, becoming the first in his immediate family to earn a college degree.

While attending college, Joshua excelled in sales and saved toward launching a business of his own. He ultimately declined an opportunity to open an insurance agency, choosing instead to pursue his vision for a café. In 2013, he spent a month working on coffee farms across Colombia, Peru, and Brazil, gaining firsthand knowledge of specialty coffee production and a deeper appreciation for the craft.

Inspired by that experience, Joshua founded Makers & Finders in the Las Vegas Arts District in late 2014, followed by a second location in Downtown Summerlin in 2017. In 2020, he launched Take It Easy Roasters in Las Vegas’ Chinatown, expanding into coffee roasting and establishing a commissary kitchen that produces more than 400,000 empanadas annually for Makers & Finders locations.

His portfolio continued to grow with a coffee kiosk at the immersive AREA15 venue in 2021 and a third full-service Makers & Finders in Henderson in 2023. In 2026, the brand established a permanent presence on the Las Vegas Strip with a location inside Fashion Show. Together, Joshua’s operations generate more than $7 million in annual revenue.
