Biography

Jordan Z. Hall is a Lighting Designer, who embraces the beauty and power of the theatre. Hailing from Fairview Heights, Illinois, Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Business Administration from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. With a diverse background in performance, playwriting, musical theatre, dance, and concerts.

Jordan has garnered national recognition for his artistry from the National Black Theatre Festival (Mabel P. Robinson Emerging Artist Award), United States Institute for Theatre Technology (Inaugural Recipient of the Collier Woods Scholarship), and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, (Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas Award For Excellence in Technology and Design - The Tempest). Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, he is a lighting & special effects technician for the renowned Cirque Du Soleil production, The Beatles’ LOVE!

His recent design credits include, Mud, The Beaux' Stratagem, and Crumbs from the Table of Joy at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, On Golden Pond at Vegas Theatre Company, Alice in Wonderland at Parallel 45 Theatre, The Mountaintop at the Hoogland Center for the Fine Arts & Illinois College, and Theory of Relativity, The Tempest and She Kills Monster at Illinois College.
