Biography
Jimi Andro-Vasko, Ph.D., has been part of UNLV's faculty since 2013, beginning as a graduate teaching assistant. In 2016, he served as a visiting lecturer, followed by a full-time lecturer appointment in 2018. Since 2020, he has held the position of assistant professor in residence. He earned his Ph.D. in 2017 with a dissertation titled Competitive Power Down Methods in Green Computing, focusing on energy-efficient computational systems. He has been the academic advisor for UNLV Association for Computing Machinery since 2013, an RSO that competes every November in a regional programming contest.
