Biography

Jihyun Kang, Ph.D., is an assistant professor-in-residence in Organizational and Professional Communication in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her research examines how entrepreneurial leaders communicate vision, navigate uncertainty, and engage employees in rapidly changing environments. She also studies technology-mediated workplace communication. Before entering academia, Kang worked in global marketing at LG Electronics, founded a communication consulting company in Korea, and advised early-stage technology ventures on business development and commercialization. Her work bridges organizational communication, entrepreneurship, and leadership practice.
