Jesalin was born and raised in California and relocated to Las Vegas in 2025. She earned her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley in social work and disability studies and earned her master’s degree in academic advising from Kansas State University.

In her free time, Jesalin enjoys visiting local parks with her dog, Mochi, spending time with family, watching the WNBA and other women’s sports, and exploring new cafés and brunch spots around the city. She is excited to be a part of the UNLV Division of Health Sciences advising team and looks forward to supporting students throughout their academic journey.
