Jennifer Cornejo, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, is the director of audiology in the department of otolaryngology - head & neck surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where she oversees clinical operations for the audiology division and provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing services.

Dr. Cornejo’s clinical practice includes audiologic evaluations for patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics. In addition to diagnostic hearing evaluations, she performs electrophysiologic testing, which encompasses auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, electrocochleography (ECoG) testing, and vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) testing. She provides counseling and management of hearing loss through advanced hearing aid and implantable device technologies, including cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing systems. She is also actively involved in interdisciplinary care and collaborates with otolaryngologists and other healthcare professionals in the management of complex auditory and vestibular disorders.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Cornejo plays an active role in medical education. She teaches otolaryngology residents and supervises audiology students and trainees. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and book chapters related to auditory diagnostics, cochlear implantation, and otologic disorders, and frequently presents educational lectures on hearing health and hearing technology. She currently represents dispensing audiologists on the State of Nevada Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board and represents Nevada audiologists as a delegate on the Audiology, Speech Language Pathology Interstate Compact commission.

Dr. Cornejo earned her doctor of audiology from A.T. Still University, her master’s degree in communicative disorders and sciences from Wichita State University, and her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology from Kansas State University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
