Jennifer Davies is an adjunct professor at the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies where she teaches courses in social media. With nearly 20 years of experience in Las Vegas’ communications industry—starting at a local PR agency and now serving in city government—she brings real-world insights into the classroom, blending storytelling, data, technology and community engagement.

She currently serves as the Strategic Communications Manager for the City of Las Vegas, where she leads the city’s integrated communications strategy across social media, website content, advertising, email marketing and creative content development. Jennifer provides strategic counsel to elected officials and senior staff on messaging, reputation management and crisis communications. She oversees a high-performing team, drives cross-departmental campaigns and uses data-driven insights to refine strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
