I graduated from USC Keck School of Medicine in 2002. I completed my general surgery residency at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2007. After residency, I did a breast surgery fellowship at Stanford.
In 2008, I joined the department of surgery at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Since joining the department, I initially was the student clerkship director. I have transitioned into graduate medical education and now am the general surgery residency program director.
In 2017, I became a full-time faculty member of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. My main research interest is breast cancer and how it metastasizes.
