Biography

Jayden Muñoz serves as the Lead Peer Mentor for the Warrior Queen Project: A Women’s Empowerment Program for the 2026–2027 academic year. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in English with a minor in African American Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Originally from San Diego, California, Jayden is an out-of-state student with a strong passion for educational leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. Through her involvement on campus, she has developed a commitment to creating supportive and empowering spaces for students.

During her time at UNLV, Jayden has served as a First Year Seminar Peer Mentor for the College of Liberal Arts and has been actively involved in several student leadership organizations, including the Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) and the Warrior Queen Project. Through these experiences, she has supported student engagement initiatives, campus events, and mentorship opportunities that encourage confidence, empowerment, and personal for growth among students.

Jayden hopes to continue uplifting and supporting students while building meaningful connections throughout the UNLV community. She is passionate about helping others feel welcomed, seen, and empowered during their college experience. After graduation, Jayden plans to pursue graduate school in Higher Education with goals of working in higher education, mentorship, and school counseling while continuing to advocate for student success, leadership, and inclusive student support systems.
