Janet R. White received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College, her M. Arch. from Columbia University and her Ph.D. in the History of Architecture and Urbanism from Cornell University. She has taught at the UNLV School of Architecture since 1999. Her research focuses primarily on the relationships between built form and culture in utopian communitarian settlements.
