Biography
Janet Cristobal is the business manager in the Office of Online Education within the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.
Janet was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the United States in late 2000. Her first job in the US was as an accounting associate at the Sam’s Club cash office. After that, she joined UNLV in 2005 and held progressive accounting positions at different campus departments. She was later promoted to a professional position as a business manager, a position she has held since 2011.
Janet holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce with a concentration in accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas, a private Catholic university in Manila, Philippines. She is also a certified program planner through the Learning Resource Network (LERN) Program Management Institute. In July 2022, she completed the Executive MBA Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and earned her master of business administration degree with distinction.
