Biography

Jaime Carbajal earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and his Master of Arts degree in Higher Education from the University of Arizona. Most recently, he earned his doctorate degree in Higher Education from UNLV. He has served UNLV students in various roles since 2011 within the following departments: the Admissions Office; Financial and Scholarships; Engineering Advising Center; Academic Success Center; the College of Education; the Division of Health Sciences Advising Center; The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, and now serves as an assistant professor for the School of Integrated Health Sciences. Additionally, Jaime enjoys teaching undergraduate students at UNLV, especially those in first-year seminar courses.. Jaime brings a strong passion for helping students navigate the college experience, while supporting diversity and inclusion at the university level. When away from campus, Jaime enjoys listening to electronic dance music (EDM), playing video games, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
