Biography

Insun Park, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in the Departments of Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology at the University of Akron. She received her doctoral degree in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati and has conducted research on juvenile delinquency, evaluations of cybercrime investigation training, and federally-funded assessments of justice reform initiatives. Before joining UA, she worked as a violent crime investigator at the Korean National Police Agency. As an advisory board member of the Center for Cybercrime Investigation & Cybersecurity (CIC), she is working to assist investigative professionals and contribute to the scholarly discussion on cybercrime, digital forensics, and legal considerations.
