Biography

Hannah Johnson has been with UNLV since 2022 and currently serves as the Associate Director of Microcredentials and Experiential Learning in Academic Affairs. Hannah was previously at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, where she played a key role in launching the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program and achieving national accreditation. A Las Vegas native, she earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from UNLV and her master’s in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University. Before returning to campus, she spent five years teaching U.S. history and AP courses in the Clark County School District, where she also led student activities and advised student organizations.

At UNLV, Hannah oversees the growth of the university’s microcredentials program, which includes a range of short, skill-based learning opportunities, both credit and non-credit, as well as certificate pathways. These programs are designed to help students and community members gain practical, verifiable skills they can apply in the workplace and beyond.

Her professional interests include instructional design, educational technology, and adult learning. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys checking out local coffee shops, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.
